A family business built on craft and trust
Intermaster Renovations started in 2002 with a simple idea: do the work right, treat people right, and build things that last. Over 20 years later we are still family owned and operated, based in Armonk, and working across Westchester, New York City, and Connecticut.
Why family owned matters
We are not a franchise. We are a family team that shows up, answers the phone, and stands behind every detail. You work with the same people from the first conversation to the final walkthrough, with no revolving door of project managers or subcontractors who disappear after the check clears.
Our reputation is built one project at a time. We have been at this for over 20 years because our clients come back, and they refer us. That only happens when the work speaks for itself and the experience is one you would recommend to a friend.
How we run a project
Listen first
Every project starts with understanding how you live and what you want. We ask questions, take the time to get the scope right, and make sure we agree before anyone picks up a tool.
Plan with your architect or designer
We review the drawings with your architect or designer before work starts, so details, materials, and sequencing are settled early. If you don't have one, we can do the design and drawings ourselves.
Build with pride
Clean job sites, clear communication, and craftsmanship we are proud of. When we are done, the space should feel like it was built to last.
The studio at the center of our work
Custom woodwork, built-ins, and millwork are not afterthoughts for us. We have our own woodworking studio, so we cut, fit, and finish in-house, from your designer's drawings or our own. That means an exact fit, an exact finish, and a level of customization you can't get from outsourced cabinetry or generic trim packages.
Whether it is a kitchen of custom cabinets, a wall of built-in bookcases, or the trim that ties a whole house together, we build it ourselves. The result looks and feels like it was made for your home, because it was.

We are licensed in Westchester and Connecticut and have served the region since 2002. Our goal is not to do the most jobs. It is to do the right jobs well, for clients who care about quality and want a partner they can trust.
